What is WASILC?
The Washington State Independent Living Council is an entity established by the state to promote the Independent Living Philosophy for people with disabilities in Washington. WASILC does this work through advocacy, education, planning and collaboration.
WASILC facilitates collaboration between the five Centers for Independent Living in Washington state. (Disability Empowerment Center is one!)
