New Board Member: Doris

Drum roll… Doris Jeong has joined our Board of Directors!

Doris (she/her) is a corporate paralegal at Expedia Group. She previously worked at the U.S. Navy in employment labor law.

As a member of the disability community, Doris has faced her own challenges including finding appropriate housing and facing the lack of disabled parking in downtown Seattle. She thinks organizations like Disability Empowerment Center are so important for helping people overcome their own obstacles. “The resources are there, but a lot of people don’t know how to find them,” she says.

Doris is a longtime Seattle resident and a total foodie. She loves cooking and trying new cuisines. She’s also a talented fashion designer and modeled at the International Dwarf Fashion Show in Paris.
